Terex MPS released its Cedarapids MJ55 modular jaw crusher.

According to the company, the MJ55 is designed around and combines the JW55 jaw crusher with Cedarapids’ 52-in. x 20-in. feeder, a sloped hopper and a straight line conveyor on a galvanized steel structure.

The feed hopper features three configuration options, allowing for optimum size to match up to the equipment loading the machine.

The standard structure can be transported in standard shipping containers, plus a flat rack for the crusher, and can be set up on site quickly with basic tools, Terex says.

The structure includes guard rails, oversize walkways and adjustable stairs for safe access. In addition, three plant emergency stops are placed around the platform for easy access during operation.

Additional features include an optional cross plant magnet and off-plant conveyor starter kit, optional mounting feet for installation on a compacted gravel base and hydraulic CCS jaw adjustment controls, which can be optioned up with the CCM switchgear panel.

The MJ55 is applicable for large quarries or contractors seeking a stationary type design without the complexity of a normal stick-built plant, according to the company.
