Terex asks attendees to show how they make America

By |  February 26, 2014

Terex plans to raise awareness and funds for the Association of Equipment Manufacturers’ (AEM). I Make America campaign 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 4-7 at its booth in the Gold Lot (1047) by encouraging its employees and attendees to put their fingerprints on the company’s I Make America artwork.

AEM launched the I Make America advocacy program in 2010 to make Congressional leaders aware of the importance infrastructure plays in the economic strength of the United States.

“The idea behind our endeavor to support AEM’s program is to show how critical everyone is in building America’s infrastructure,” says Ron DeFeo, chairman and CEO, Terex Corp. “We invite all show attendees to stop by our booth in the Gold Lot and help us create this I Make America masterpiece.”

Each day of the show, Terex will post on its Facebook page the progress made on the artwork. At the end of the show, the company will present the finished piece to AEM.
