Terex appoints compact equipment distributor for Manitoba

Terex named AgCon Equipment an authorized distributor of its compact construction equipment line in the Canadian province of Manitoba.

The company will offer sales, rental, service, parts and financing for Terex compact track loaders, skid steer loaders, compact excavators, compact wheel loaders and backhoe loaders.

“The team at AgCon firmly believes that by offering the highest quality of new, pre-owned and rental equipment available in the market that their customers will reap the greatest benefits in terms of production and yields,” says Dean Barley, vice president and general manager, Terex Construction Americas and Global Aftermarket. “In taking on the Terex compact equipment line, AgCon Equipment continues to expand on that commitment, as well as to provide new opportunities, to their customers.”

AgCon Equipment’s office and service center headquarters in Winnipeg will offer the Terex compact construction equipment product line. The company also will offer mobile mechanic services to maximize customers’ uptime during the workday. It will provide financing options through Terex Financial Services to qualified customers.

AgCon says the Terex line of smaller equipment will enable it to better serve its customers. “Traditionally, we have sold medium and larger equipment size ranges,” says Troy Ash, AgCon Equipment’s general manager and owner. “But we see a lot of growth potential with smaller dirt contractors and landscapers in Manitoba so we needed to add a compact line to complement our other product offerings.”
