Telsmith Inc. appoints new president

Matthew Haven has assumed the role of president of Telsmith Inc. Haven replaces Richard Patek, who will concentrate on his role as group vice president of the Aggregate & Mining Division of Astec Industries Inc.

Haven joined Telsmith in 1997 as a chief engineer of research and development, and he was named executive vice president and general manager in 2012.

“Matt Haven has an extensive track record of demonstrated success and a is proven leader within Telsmith,” Patek said. “I am confident that his guidance will enable the 300 plus employees of Telsmith to successfully grow the brand within the global marketplace.”
