tbei-logoTruck Bodies & Equipment International (TBEI) named Douglas Street as its North Central territory manager for the Crysteel, DuraClass and Rugby brands. In this position, Street will cover North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Missouri, as well as Saskatchewan and Manitoba, Canada.

Street comes to TBEI with more than 24 years of experience in the industry. He started his career as a commercial truck sales representative for Central Truck of Wisconsin, where he focused on the heavy- and medium-duty market. Street also served as a sales manager for Quality Truck Care Center and a director of sales at Sioux City Truck Sales, where he was responsible for customer service, prospecting, personnel, chassis ordering, determining the values of used trucks and developing growth plans for the departments.

Most recently, Street served as the chassis pool representative for Palfleet-Council Bluffs, where he ordered the Ford, Chevrolet, GMC, Dodge and Freightliner pool chassis for sales to OEM dealer groups.

“Douglas brings several things to this position that greatly impressed me,” says Henry Bell, vice president of sales and marketing at TBEI. “He has an extensive knowledge of the Class 8 truck market and a fiercely competitive nature. I think his fresh perspective in this territory will be a significant change for TBEI and our valued distributors.”

TBEI, based in Minnesota, is a privately owned corporation that has more than 500 distributors and dealers across North America. Its product portfolio includes five manufacturers of dump bodies, landscape bodies, platforms, hoists, and truck and trailer equipment and accessories.
