Polycor merges with Indiana Limestone

Polycor_IndianaLimestonePolycor, a producer of natural stone, completed its merger with Indiana Limestone Co. (ILCO), a limestone quarrier and building materials producer headquartered in Bloomington, Indiana.

The merger between the two companies is expected to drive growth through cross-selling synergies, geographic expansion, sharing of best practices and expanded product offering, according to the companies.

“This transaction represents another milestone in Polycor’s journey to become the global leader in the natural stone industry,” says Patrick Perus, president and CEO of Polycor. “We are thrilled to be joining forces with the leading producer of Indiana limestone in ILCO and look forward to welcoming this world-class team into the Polycor family.”

Shareholders of Indiana Limestone, which was founded in 1926, will become minority shareholders in the go-forward entity, according to the company.
