Syntron Material Handling promoted Rob Drew to the role of company president.

According to Syntron, Drew joined the company in 2016 as vice president of operations. He was appointed general manager last year, taking responsibility over the day-to-day commercial, engineering, finance and operations of the company’s businesses in Mississippi and China.

Before joining Syntron, Drew held various operational leadership roles at Terex Corp., Bombardier and Motor Coach Industries.

“Rob’s ability to grow a business, creating and implementing strategy, international experience, lean manufacturing expertise and capacity to effectively lead a team will assure that [Syntron] continues to profitably grow and be a valuable business within the Kadant family,” the company says in a written statement.
