Syntron hires manager for vibratory equipment

Syntron Material Handling appointed Mitch Franks as its global vibratory equipment product line manager, where he will be responsible for overseeing heavy-duty feeders, screens and light industry products.

Franks has more than 20 years of experience in sales and operations with FMC and FMCTI, Syntron says. He has an industrial engineering degree from Mississippi State University, as well as an MBA from Auburn University.

“I look forward to returning to the material handling industry and customers while enhancing SMH’s strong reputation as we deliver best in class solutions,” Franks says.

In addition, Syntron named Brent Walker manager of distribution for North America. According to the company, Walker has more than 30 years of experience in distribution.
