Superior Industries, a manufacturer of bulk material processing and handling systems, named Cary Octavio as its territory sales manager for conveyor components covering the Northeast United States.

In his new role, Octavio will work with Superior’s distribution partners from Maine to Virginia and all states in between, according to the company. He joins Superior with nearly 30 years of sales and service in the bulk material handling market.

“Cary likes to get his hands dirty and comes to Superior with an incredible amount of technical conveying experience,” says Mike McFerren, conveyor components sales manager at Superior. “He’ll be an asset to our distribution partners and bulk material producers throughout the Northeast and will make our whole sales and service group better.”

A U.S. Navy veteran, Octavio comes to Superior after serving as vice president of sales at International Conveyor and Rubber, a Pennsylvania-based supplier of conveyor and rubber products and services. He also spent the majority of his career with Fenner Dunlop Americas, where he served in outside sales territory development and sales management positions.
