Siegmund Excavation & Construction names CFO

Siegmund Excavation & Construction, a construction and excavation company serving the Pacific Northwest, named Ryan Parker as CFO.

Siegmund Excavation & Construction offers a variety of services to Oregon’s timber industry, including new road construction, road maintenance, bridge construction and installation, portable crushing, quarry development, land clearing, roadside brushing, full-service logging, contract cutting, dump trucking and heavy hauling.

Parker will serve as the senior-level executive responsible for managing all financial actions for the company.

“Bringing on a CFO was a strategic business move for Siegmund Excavation and Construction,” says Andrew Siegmund, president and owner of Siegmund Excavation & Construction. “We entered 2018 with the desire and demand to expand. This hire represents an intentional broadening and deepening of the company to better manage our internal operations as we grow, serving existing and new clients.”

The company says Parker, a certified public accountant, has accounting experience in the construction industry in businesses ranging from mid-sized to larger companies.

“Ryan’s construction background is extremely relevant,” Siegmund says. “He spent the last dozen years working in medium to large construction companies, and he has experience in the types of accounting software and processes that we intend to use to grow our businesses.”

Parker will work for the Siegmund Group of companies, including Siegmund Excavation & Construction, Allied Rock and Siegmund Landscape Supply, according to the company.
