Motion Metrics‘ ShovelMetrics fragmentation analysis technology uses computer vision technologies and artificial intelligence to accurately and continually measure rock fragmentation within the shovel bucket.
The analysis includes a rock segmentation algorithm that is four times faster than its predecessor and provides a 5 to 10 percent improvement in P80 and P100 values, according to Motion Metrics.
Additionally, this technology helps optimize blasting results while also reducing time and expenses.
