Security expert to lead NSSGA Annual Convention session

The National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) announced Jason R. Hanson plans to lead the second general session at NSSGA’s Annual Convention. According to the association, Hanson will focus his presentation on situational awareness.

Hanson, a security expert and former CIA officer, will teach convention attendees how to hinder personal and corporate crimes on a daily basis in his presentation. Hanson is the New York Times best-selling author of “Spy Secrets That Can Save Your Life.” NSSGA says Hanson has appeared on several television shows, including the “Today” show, the “Rachael Ray Show,” “Fox & Friends” and “Shark Tank.”

“Situational awareness is vital to safe operations,” says Pamala Bouchard, NSSGA vice president of membership and meetings. “Hanson’s presentation is sure to highlight the best ways to keep safe at work and at home. Security threats come in many different forms, and we are glad to have Hanson teach us how to keep our families and companies safe and secure.”

The second general session at NSSGA’s Annual Convention starts at 8 a.m. March 23 in the Music City Center in Nashville, Tenn. NSSGA’s Annual Convention takes place March 20-23 in Nashville. Register for NSSGA’s Annual Convention to hear Hanson’s presentation on security in the workplace.
