Rogers Group purchases unique Tennessee property

By |  April 27, 2017

Rogers Group Inc. bought a former state penitentiary site in West Nashville, Tennessee, for $12.1 million, The (Nashville) Tennessean reports.

Rogers Group paid the state of Tennessee for the vacant 119-acre property.

According to The Tennessean, the former Charles Bass Correctional Complex sits across from a REOStone quarry. A new quarry is a possibility for the Rogers Group property, the report suggests. The property sits on the Cumberland River and is a half-mile from John C. Tune Airport.
