Rogers Group expanded its Texas footprint with the acquisition of Granbury Excavating aggregate operations in Dallas and Lubbock, Texas. The company also acquired a Tri-County Materials operation in Ennis, Texas.

“Our western division continues to be a major focus for growth opportunities in all RGI (Rogers Group) business lines, and the addition of these aggregate facilities complements the investments already made to date in Texas,” says Darin Matson, president and CEO of Rogers Group.

Granbury Excavating and Tri-County Materials, both sand and gravel producers, have about 20 employees who have transitioned into positions within Rogers Group, the company says.

“We are excited to open our new division office in Grapevine in conjunction with our entry into the north Texas market and [further] our presence in the Texas panhandle with the acquisition in the Lubbock area,” says Tim Wilson, western division vice president at Rogers Group.
