Regal Beloit Corp. launched its new power transmission (PT) mobile app for iOS devices.

The Regal PT mobile app serves as a source for bearings-related information needs, according to the company. It features a registration module to allow users to register bearings and receive a 12-month extension of the company’s standard limited warranty.

The app allows users to access bearing product details, installation instructions and troubleshooting guides. A bearing interchange tool can be used to swap designs to Regal bearings products. The app also features part specifications on Sealmaster, McGill, Browning, System Plast and Rollway bearings.

The Regal PT app also features a return on investment calculator, conversion tools and information on new Regal products. Customer support is available through the app’s contact information page, allowing users to contact representatives by phone or email. The asset management tool is also available in a desktop version.

“Our goal with the Regal PT app is to provide users with a handheld tool to answer their common bearings-related questions,” Regal Director of Customer Experience Ian Rubin says. “The registration module allows users to use the app as an asset management tool to increase productivity, reinforcing our commitment to help customers more easily manage their power transmission products.”

Regal, headquartered in Beloit, Wisconsin, manufactures electric motors and controls, power generation products and power transmission components.
