Stockpile Reports added a near real-time continuous inventory levels component to its existing logistics software.

Through the use of fixed cameras, the software automatically calculates inventory levels and replaces the need for manual entry, the company says. Camera measurements can be scheduled, set to run on a recurring frequency interval or automatically triggered after motion occurs.

The Stockpile Reports logistics system sends alerts to operators to provide inventory level data needed to organize delivery.

All cameras automatically collect images and send them to the company’s image-processing platform, generating volumetric reports with no manual involvement, the company adds.
