The National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association’s (NSSGA) Legislative & Policy Forum brought industry stakeholders to Washington, where they met with congressional leaders about a variety of issues. Rep. Burgess Owens (R-Utah), center, met with Granite Construction’s Gary Johnson, Supreme Manufacturing’s Elliot Archibald, Summit Materials’ Chris Gaskill and Dyno Nobel’s Adam Poulson.

A number of CDE representatives were on hand in Joppatowne, Maryland, for an open house at Repurpose Aggregates, which put a recycling wash plant online earlier this year. Allied Pedestal Boom Systems leaders gave Pit & Quarry a tour of their workshop in Norwalk, Ohio. Pictured from left are vice president of sales and marketing Chris Cadnum, digital marketing coordinator Stefan Taylor and project manager Jim Colvin. According to Cadnum, Allied is averaging between 90 and 120 days between order and delivery due to a large project backlog and having a large stockpile of parts on hand.
