P&Q caught up with Wm. D. Scepaniak’s John Scepaniak, left, and General Equipment & Supplies’ Don Kern at the Superior Industries booth during the first day of AGG1. Wm. D. Scepaniak is a family-owned and operated aggregate services contractor while General Equipment provides aggregate and construction equipment parts and services. Both companies operate in the Upper Midwest.

AGG1 and World of Asphalt leaders were on hand for a ribbon-cutting ceremony that officially opened the show at the Music City Center.
