Quarry Faces: August 2022

Bob Sidley, chairman of the board at R.W. Sidley (pictured at left), made an appearance during a Pit & Quarry visit this summer to the company’s operation in Thompson, Ohio. Pictured alongside Sidley is Brad Wienhold, environmental, health and safety manager at R.W. Sidley.

Other R.W. Sidley leaders joined Maverick Environmental Equipment representatives during P&Q’s summer visit. From left are Craig Kaser, sales representative at Maverick; Bob Buescher, president and CEO of R.W. Sidley; Jennifer Grundy, business development manager at R.W. Sidley; Shaun Kennedy, mine supervisor at R.W. Sidley’s Thompson operation; Brad Buescher, director of human resources at R.W. Sidley; Wienhold; and Lisa Gregory, who handles inside sales and marketing for Maverick.

Sidley equipment operators as P&Q explored the Thompson operation’s new wash plant, which consists of an S190 triple-deck screen feeding a CSP120 wash plant. With Sandvik appointing Country Boy Supply as a distributor of its boom drills and rock tools for Tennessee and Georgia, representatives from the companies got together to celebrate the partnership at an open house in Conyers, Georgia.
