Sandvik plans to launch a portable plant and more at the upcoming AGG1 Aggregates Academy & Expo in Nashville, Tennessee.

According to Sandvik, it will introduce the UK373 wheeled cone crusher in Booth 1048 along with surface drills at the March 29-31 trade show. Sandvik also plans to display a CH440 cone crusher and rock tools at AGG1.

Sandvik says the new UK373 wheeled crusher is an electric-driven, closed-circuit crushing solution that is fully assembled on a quad-axle trailer frame. Sandvik equipped the plant with a CH440 cone and a three-deck, 6-ft. x 20-ft. heavy-duty screen with high g-force to ensure efficiency, productivity and reliability.

The CH440 is suitable for a high-capacity secondary application, Sandvik says, or a high-reduction tertiary or pebble-crushing application. It can be matched to changes in production through the selection of crushing chambers and an eccentric throw.

Additionally, the company says Sandvik Rental Services is entering the U.S. market with a structured rental offering that meets the needs of those looking for short-term, off-balance solutions to fill production gaps or expand operations yet want to minimize risk. Sandvik Rental Services is starting this with Sandvik DX700 tracked drills in an offering that allows machines to be rented for as short as one month.
