National Equipment Dealers acquires South Carolina distributor

Richardson Service 1991 is now a National Equipment Dealers (NED) company.

According to NED, the acquisition expands its organization in the state of South Carolina, where NED is represented by MAY-RHI in Columbia and Summerville.

Richardson Service, located in Conway, South Carolina, has provided heavy equipment sales and service to customers throughout South Carolina and beyond since its founding in 1991, NED says. The company started as a quick repair shop and has grown into a dealership specializing in construction, forestry and compact equipment.

“The Richardson Service team is excited about its new partnership with the NED organization,” says Paul Harmer, the founder of Richardson Service who will remain with NED. “This partnership brings together a vast knowledge base and a wide range of products and services that we look forward to sharing with our current and future customers. Richardson Service is committed to this new relationship, along with maintaining those that have supported us over the last 30 years.”

The Richardson Services team will represent the full line of Hyundai Construction Equipment, Manitou equipment, Sakai compaction equipment, Yanmar compact equipment and Bell articulated trucks.
