Randy Breaux, president of Motion, was named group president of Genuine Parts Co. (GPC) North America.

GPC is the parent company of Motion.

Breaux will oversee the company’s automotive and industrial businesses across North America while also assuming day-to-day responsibility as president of U.S. Automotive Group.

Breaux will officially start in his new role on July 1.

“[Randy] has consistently demonstrated an ability to lead high-performing teams and deliver outstanding results,” says Paul Donahue, chairman and CEO of GPC. “Randy’s leadership and relevant expertise make him the ideal candidate for this role. This transition also represents the depth of our leadership team and our talent initiatives as we continue to foster the power of One GPC.”

Breaux joined Motion in 2011 as senior vice president of marketing, distribution, purchasing and strategic planning. He was promoted to executive vice president in 2018 and then president in 2019.
