Motion Industries named Joe Limbaugh as its senior vice president of supply chain, operations support and marketing.

Limbaugh will report directly to Randy Breaux, president of Motion Industries.

Limbaugh has worked in the industry since 1983. He started in an entry-level position at Berry Bearing Co., which was later acquired by Motion Industries. Limbaugh also served as an operations manager, branch manager and corporate sales manager for the company.

In 2007, Limbaugh accepted a position as vice president general manager of the company’s division in Birmingham, Alabama. In 2009, he assumed the role of vice president general manager of the Chicago division, and in 2013 he returned to the company’s headquarters in Birmingham as vice president of operations, distribution and properties.

“Joe has a wealth of experience, both in field sales and branch operations, as well as in corporate functions including logistics, distribution, properties and facilities management,” Breaux says. “Additionally, Joe’s creative and marketing intelligence makes him uniquely qualified to lead Motion in several disciplines. During the past five years, I have watched Joe master every challenge presented to him. I am very excited to see Joe take our supply chain and marketing efforts to a new level.”

Motion Industries is an industrial parts distributor of bearings, mechanical power transmission, electric and industrial automation, hydraulic and industrial hose, hydraulic and pneumatic components, industrial products, safety products and material handling. The company has more than 550 locations, including 14 distribution centers throughout North America.
