Montabert, a manufacturer of hydraulic rock breakers and related attachments, opened a new distribution and customer care center in Nashville, Illinois.

The 50,000-sq.-ft. location houses both Montabert products as well as the company’s customer care and inventory planning teams. According to the company, the facility is centrally located in the United States to improve access to dealers nationwide and short turnaround times for orders.

“This distribution center allows our planning and inventory management teams to be housed in one location, ensuring the highest level of service for customers,” says Stephane Giroudon, director of sales for Americas at Montabert. “This facility has allowed us to stock 33 percent more product and provide same-day shipping on in-stock items.”

In addition, Montabert’s newly-established remanufacturing facility in Chattanooga, Tennessee, is coordinating the rebuilding of breakers. The company is also planning the opening of a new remanufacturing facility in Elko, Nevada, to better serve the Western region of the U.S.
