The Missouri Limestone Producers Association (MLPA) recognized dozens of operations throughout the state of Missouri for achieving extended periods without lost-time accidents.

MLPA recognized operations based on two criteria: years without a lost-time accident, and multiples of 100,000 hours with no lost time. Nine operations were credited for going between 20 and 32 years without a lost-time accident. Another 63 operations have gone between five and 19 years.

Achieving 400,000 hours without lost time were Central Stone’s Portable Plant #2, Holliday Sand & Stone Co.’s Portable Plants #2 and #3, and Willard Quarries’ St. Robert operation.
