MINExpo 2016: Around Las Vegas: Black Canyon River Raft Adventure

The Black Canyon River Raft Tour is offered through MINExpo and can be purchased as a part of registration. According to Black Canyon’s website, the canyon formed over millions of years ago by volcanic activity and lies just below the Hoover Dam. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the canyon’s history and enjoy the surrounding wildlife. The tour, round-trip transportation, boxed lunch and bottled water costs $185 per person.
Attendees must wear boots, sneakers or closed-toe shoes. Each participant is required to sign a liability waiver or indemnity agreement prior to departing for the trip. Finally, participants must be 18 years of age or older and bring a valid government-issued photo ID.
The tour will take place Sunday, Sept. 25 from 8:30 a.m.- 2:30 p.m.
