Minet Lacing Technology (MLT) released its Fix’N Go, a solution for repairing belt rips and tears.

According to the company, Fix’N Go is made of 50-cu.-mm rubber, which has a higher abrasion resistance than most conveyor belts without impacting its flexibility, resistance to elongation and tensile strength.

Fix’N Go is available in anti-abrasion and heat-retardant versions, as well as with carbon steel inserts or screws. The product features MLT’s SuperScrew technology, which uses vulcanized plies, vulcanized nuts, washers and self-tapping screws. MLT-specific screws are self-drilling and self-tapping, the company adds.

The solution comes available in 2 or 20 meters. The installation tools needed include a battery, electric or pneumatic operated drill or screwdriver and a belt skiver.
