The Michigan Aggregates Association (MAA) appointed Doug Needham as its president.

Needham succeeds Mike Newman as the association’s president. According to MAA, Newman led the association for more than 20 years. Needham plans to start his position as MAA president Nov. 2.

MAA says Needham has about 21 years of experience in the construction industry. Needham currently serves as the vice president of industry relations for the Michigan Infrastructure and Transportation Association. In the past, Needham has developed statewide initiatives and conferences that benefited Michigan’s construction industry.
