Michelin Earthmover adds certified repair sites

By |  December 18, 2013

Michelin Earthmover added six Michelin Professional Earthmover Dealers to its Michelin Earthmover Performance Repairs program. The company now has 17 repair sites in the United States and Mexico.

Dealers in the program, which launched in February, are accredited with certification through a comprehensive audit of their repair capabilities on Michelin’s specialized tires. The company designed the program to develop consistent, professional and validated repair shops for its Earthmover tires. Tech International training, inventory control systems, traceability methods and a proven quality repair process help ensure proper repairs.

The additional Michelin Performance Repair Sites include Boulevard Tire in Orlando, Fla.; Pomps Tire in Elk Grove Village, Ill.; TCiTire Centers in Kilgore, Texas; Purcell Tire in Salt Lake City, Utah; Inland Tire in Hayward, Calif.; and Kal Tire in Hermosillo, Mexico.

“We continue to work toward our goal of having complete North American coverage by 2014,” says Greg Williams, Earthmover services deployment manager, in a press release. “This program is designed to assist end users with the maintenance and protection of their Michelin Earthmover tire assets.”
