Meyer: Double Flapgate airlock valves

By |  December 27, 2012

Meyer’s Double Flapgate airlock valves are engineered and manufactured for extreme operating environments or highly abrasive materials. They are designed to control the rate of material flow through a system and at the same time preventing air leakage by isolating the processing system’s pressures. The valves can be designed to seal completely with pressure differentials up to 15 psi. They are built for heavy duty service; are highly resistant to abrasive materials; feature long bearing and shaft life for fewer system shutdowns; have access covers to simplify inspection and maintenance; and can operate in extreme temperatures – up to 750° F. Actuation can be electric, pneumatic or gravity.
