Mellott Co. launched a new business unit that offers new, rebuilt, or factory re-certified equipment in addition to a range of services.

CrushersPlus features a website, crushers-plus.com, that lets customers search for the equipment they are looking for. It includes detailed descriptions, locations, and photos of crushers, screeners, feeders, parts, and other aggregates-related equipment available for sale. CrushersPlus also includes information about the company’s Component Exchange Program (CXP) that is designed to expedite repairs of complete assembles for crushers by allowing customers to instead exchange components.

Customers can save on new, rebuilt, or factory re-certified rock crushers by taking advantage of trade-in offers on their existing equipment, according to Mellott. The company also offers such services as design/engineering, contract crushing, and maintenance.

“It’s not just about equipment. What really adds value is our expertise and know-how,” says company President Rich Blake. “Anybody can sell a used crusher, but when that crusher needs service and repairs, it quickly turns into a paperweight if you don’t have the experienced people to get it back up and running properly—we’ve got the people.”
