MDU Resources names chief information officer

MDU Resources Group named Peggy Link as its chief information officer. In this role, Link will oversee information technology at the company, as well as its business units WBI Energy and the utility group, which includes Cascade Natural Gas Corp., Great Plains Natural Gas Co., Intermountain Gas Co. and Montana-Dakota Utilities Co.

“Peggy has extensive knowledge in the information technology arena,” says David Goodin, president and CEO of MDU Resources. “She brings more than 25 years of experience to her new role, which will serve the corporation well. A key strength Peggy brings to the role are her people and project management capabilities, which are so important in the information technology function of any business.”

Link joined MDU in 2005 and has led the enterprise technology services function since 2007. She previously served as the company’s assistant vice president of technology and cybersecurity officer. She currently serves on the board of the Information Technology Council of North Dakota and is a member of the State Information Technology Advisory Committee.

MDU Resources Group, a member of the S&P MidCap 400 index, provides natural resource products and related services for energy and transportation infrastructure, including regulated utilities, pipelines and energy services, and construction materials and services.
