McLanahan: Dewatering screens

By |  June 4, 2013

McLanahan’s dewatering screens feature heavy-duty screen media for high-capacity applications. McLanahan’s design features heavy side plates, stress-relieved bridges and cross beams that are Huck-bolted together. The versatility of media combinations and dividers available is key to long-term performance and flexibility, the company says. The option for a machine with divided decks offers producers the ability to dewater and stockpile multiple products or blend products from one screen. The dewatering screens also follow sand-classifying tanks or fine-material screw washers. They can be part of recipe sand plants, as well. According to McLanahan, dewatering screen benefits include consistent drip-free discharge, better stockpile management and shorter inventory cycles.
