ConExpo 2014 Exhibitor Profile: McLanahan Corp.

By |  February 28, 2014

McLanahan will showcase its capabilities in dry and wet processing, as well as premiere its brand-new capabilities in crushing with two new product introductions. The first will be a new cone crusher, and the second is McLanahan’s reinvention of the single-toggle/overhead eccentric jaw crusher. McLanahan has developed a line of hard rock jaw crushers with major design innovations that will change the operation of a primary crushing station from a low- to a high-productivity element in the processing system. The first size in the series, a 44×50-in. model, will be on display in the booth — with presentations throughout each day highlighting what makes this new jaw crusher design safer, simpler and smarter than any that is currently on the market. McLanahan will also introduce two products that assist customers with water management issues. The recessed plate filter press has undergone extensive design changes to enhance its safety and simplicity, which will continue to help customers eliminate settling ponds — including moving to a single-piston design. Plus, after years of producing high-rate thickeners, McLanahan will introduce a field-proven deep cone thickener design with a lab-scale version. This thickener allows producers to create clear water and a slurry with a high solids content.
