McCloskey International unveiled a new jaw crushing plant at AGG1 Aggregates Academy & Expo.

According to McCloskey, the new J6 is designed to deliver high tons per hour due to an innovative jaw chamber design and enhanced material flow. McCloskey says the large, deep chamber is particularly effective in hard rock applications, with an optional factory-fit rock hammer available to maximize resources on-site.

The 48-in. x 34-in. jaw opening accommodates large feed sizes, McCloskey adds.

“For us, it’s going to be aimed at the large quarry market and going to complement some other crushers that are more realistically aimed at the recycle market,” says John O’Neill, vice president of sales at McCloskey, whose company offered a variety of business updates during an AGG1 press conference. It’s a high-tonnage machine and marries up with the C4 cone to be in the 600-tph range.”

Mobility on-site and between sites continues to be a feature of the plant, the company adds, with remote-control tracks present to easily move and position the crushing plant and maximize the efficiency of any project site.

Additionally, the J6 is fitted with a telematics modem for the new 365SiteConnex program. 365SiteConnex is a connectivity solution for monitoring of McCloskey products.
