McCloskey acquires Lippmann-Milwaukee

By |  August 31, 2018

McCloskey International acquired Lippmann-Milwaukee, a privately held company that manufactures aggregate crushing equipment for processing applications.

Lippmann products are sold across the aggregate, mining and recycling industries.

“Lippman’s reputation for quality is legendary,” says Paschal McCloskey, president and CEO of McCloskey International. “We are excited at the opportunity to leverage the best practices of both companies while aligning the organization and operation for a customer-driven model.

Lippmann, established in 1923 and regarded for its heavy-duty jaw crushers, is headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. McCloskey expects its complementary product offerings, including portable crushing plants, to allow for market expansion for both companies. McCloskey also expects to serve a broader base of customers around the world, as it can leverage its global dealer network to distribute the Lippmann product line.

“Our success in the market has been built on quality products, along with dedicated employees,” McCloskey says. “Looking at the similar values and culture between McCloskey and Lippmann, it’s an excellent fit.”

Lippmann’s headquarters will remain in Milwaukee, and McCloskey International will continue to be headquartered in Keene, Ontario, Canada.
