Masaba showcased its subscription-based Masaba Connect support service for Magnum telescoping conveyors at ConExpo-Con/Agg 2020.

Masaba Connect is designed to give users peace of mind knowing Masaba’s service team can take a proactive approach to diagnose and accurately troubleshoot a Magnum telescoping conveyor.

With a Masaba Connect subscription on a Magnum, Masaba personnel gain remote access into a conveyor. They can view the HMI (human-machine interface) screens and pile settings, make program changes if required and troubleshoot most of the electrical systems on the machine to get users back into production mode.

The remote connection associated with Masaba Connect is fast, Masaba says, connecting the machine to technicians as if they were at the facility. Masaba Connect also allows for troubleshooting machine setup, machine performance and advanced diagnostics of the onboard PLC (programmable logic controller) control.
