Martin Marietta is shifting its corporate headquarters into a new office building that will open next year in Raleigh, North Carolina, according to the Triangle Business Journal.

According to Highwoods Properties, Martin Marietta committed to lease the GlenLake Seven office building in GlenLake Office Park. The building will serve as the aggregate producer’s new headquarters.

GlenLake Seven features five stories totaling 125,000 sq. ft, according to the Triangle Business Journal. Martin Marietta will be the sole tenant and take up the whole building.

Martin Marietta’s is currently headquartered at 2710 Wycliff Road in Raleigh, south of the new location.

“We are excited Martin Marietta, one of Raleigh’s largest and most successful companies, will be a new customer for Highwoods and has chosen GlenLake Seven for its corporate headquarters,” says Ted Klinck, president and CEO of Highwoods, according to Triangle Business Journal. “We look forward to building a long-lasting relationship with Martin Marietta. Our Raleigh team has done an excellent job with GlenLake Seven and this lease illustrates the healthy demand we’re seeing across the Raleigh market.”

Construction reportedly began on GlenLake Seven last year. Amenities at the new building will include a fitness facility and care.

“We’re delighted to partner with another Raleigh-based company to provide the next location for our corporate headquarters,” says Ward Nye, chairman, president and CEO of Martin Marietta, according to Triangle Business Journal. “This new building at GlenLake Seven, together with the surrounding Office Park, perfectly meets the needs of our growing business and complements our focus on enhanced efficiencies and sustainability.”
