Martin Engineering, Belterra form alliance

Bulk material handling equipment supplier Martin Engineering named Belterra Corp. the exclusive distributor of Martin components throughout Canada to help improve customer service and component availability across the country.

Belterra, a Canadian distributor of conveyor belting and material flow handling products, accessories and services, says its mission is to serve as a single-source provider of turnkey engineered solutions for bulk handling from its 16 locations across Canada.

“We’ve become very familiar with Belterra’s expertise and dedication to customer service through the company’s years as our distributor in Western Canada,” says Martin Engineering CEO Scott Hutter. “With this agreement, we’re aligning two firms who share the same vision of delivering complete, customized solutions tailored to fit individual customer requirements.”

Founded in 1944, Martin Engineering has its headquarters in Neponset, Ill., and offers manufacturing, sales and service from factory-owned business units in Brazil, China, France, Germany, Indonesia, Mexico, South Africa, Turkey, India, the UK, Japan, Russia, Peru and under exclusive license with ESS Australia.
