Martin Sprocket & Gear combined the fundamentals of screw conveyors and conveyor pulleys to bring the Clean Flight Wing pulley to life. According to Martin, this pulley utilizes formed, helical flights that are continuously welded on a steel core. The result is a conveyor pulley that aggressively conveys and ejects material in less than one revolution, according to the company. Due to the helical flight design, Clean Flight Wing pulleys maintain constant 360-degree contact and do not vibrate like conventional, straight-wing pulleys. They can be run at the same maximum speeds as drum pulleys, Martin says. The faster they run, the more effectively they eject material.

Suppress dust, particles with mobile unit

The DustBoss Atom is a self-contained, fanless design incorporating 4G LTE telematics technologies and remote-control features to deliver both suppression and monitoring, according to BossTek. The compact, diesel-powered Atom features a Kohler KD440 power plant – a 9.1-hp, air-cooled engine that meets Tier 4 Final emissions standards. The Atom features a throw of 100 ft., the company says, and the adjustable elevation angle and user-defined oscillation allow precise aiming of dust-capturing mist.

Exciters offer improved screening performance

Niagara exciters for vibrating screens provide increased service life and less maintenance to operators, according to Haver & Boecker Niagara. The company’s exciters are offered in four models, each of which is adjustable to provide eight weight configurations, delivering the largest static moment range on the market, the company says. Niagara exciters come standard on all Haver & Boecker Niagara exciter-driven XL-Class and L-Class vibrating screens, and they’re available as aftermarket parts for any brand of exciter-driven machine. Exciter-driven vibrating screens are ideal for high-tonnage applications and heavy-duty environments, Haver & Boecker Niagara adds – including dewatering or SAG mill screening.
