Major Wire appoints two VPs

By |  September 28, 2016

Major Wire Industries appointed James Siler as vice president of sales for North America and André Mathieu as vice president of global business development.

Prior to this position, Siler served as sales director for the United States for Major Wire. According to the company, Siler has a deep knowledge of the industry and of its dealer network. Mathieu brings to Major Wire more than 25 years of experience in international business development and market strategy within the construction, industrial and mining industries, the company says.

Major Wire appointed these two individuals after Gary Pederson, vice president of sales for the company, announced his retirement, which goes into effect Sept. 30.

“I’m confident that James will help us achieve a new level of success in North America and build upon the strong foundation Gary created,” says Alain Durand, president and CEO of Major Wire. “André will be a key asset in helping to make Major become the strong global player we aim to be.”

Major Wire, a Haver & Boecker company, designs, manufactures and markets screen media solutions, including Flex-Mat Vibrating Wire Screening Media in tensioned and modular versions, OptimumWire and stainless steel woven wire cloth for the aggregate, mining, recycling and other related markets.
