Presenting some of the latest solutions in maintenance equipment:

Delo 600 ADF with Omnimax, a heavy-duty engine oil, delivers maximum system protection to both the engine and the emissions system, according to Chevron. The product aims to help reduce the rate of diesel particulate filter (DPF) clogging to extend DPF service life and fuel economy retention, ultimately contributing to reduced customer operating costs. The company recommends the oil for Tier 4 Final and 2017 greenhouse gas-compliant, naturally aspirated and turbocharged four-stroke diesel engines.

Through onsite laser scanning, Columbia Steel gets the facts first before recommending and designing replacement wear parts for crusher maintenance. Columbia Steel engineers can take measurements from a safe distance at existing personnel access areas. Thin areas created by feeder or dump patterns can be identified to improve the service life of an entire set of concaves. By comparing measured wear to new profiles to determine thickness, Columbia Steel can offer an estimate of remaining life in time or tons. As long as the part surface is visible, wear can be measured and analyzed.

According to Petro-Canada Lubricants, its Environ MV R is the first hydraulic fluid using ultra-pure, severely hydrotreated base oils to meet the OECD 301B requirements for ready biodegradability. It is designed to provide longer life and increased value without compromising performance, the company says. Environ MV R combines base oils with an ashless additive system to offer operators the protection of a mobile and industrial hydraulic fluid – while also being OECD 301B readily biodegradable to help protect sensitive environments. lubricants.

Heico-Lock wedge locking systems are a solution to ensure a bolted joint will not self-loosen – even under extreme quarrying and mining conditions, according to Heico. High-vibration, acute shock loads and extreme temperatures are the bane of bolted joints, and the original Heico-Lock wedge lock washers provide an answer to keep critical bolts tight.
