Direct Bond Ceramic Lagging can be used for drive and non-drive pulleys in high wear applications. The ceramic tiles are bonded directly to the steel surface in sections and does not wear. The drive pulleys use high density ceramic tiles with studs to maintain maximum traction in all conditions. The studs have rounded edges to prevent belt wear and the grooves help to dissipate water and dirt to maintain traction. The non-drive pulleys use ceramic tiles that are smooth to reduce friction and wear on both the pulley and the conveyor belt.
