Longtime OAIMA fixture Loos dies

Maralynn Ruth Loos, a longtime employee of the Ohio Aggregates & Industrial Minerals Association (OAIMA), died earlier this month. She was 77.

Loos joined OAIMA – then The Ohio Aggregates Association – in 1964. She spent 51 years with the association prior to her retirement in 2015.

According to OAIMA, Loos was instrumental in many of the accomplishments and advancements of the association and industry. She served as a constant during times of change and in the leadership of OAIMA, the association adds.
