LafargeHolcim expanding into roofing business

LafargeHolcim-logoLafargeHolcim signed an agreement to acquire Firestone Building Products (FSBP), a commercial roofing and building envelope solutions company based in the U.S.

According to LafargeHolcim, FSBP had estimated 2020 net sales of about $1.8 billion and EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization) of about $270 million.

According to LafargeHolcim, the deal is worth $3.4 billion.

Paolo Ferrari, Bridgestone Americas president, CEO and COO, also commented on the deal.
