LafargeHolcim appoints general manager

LafargeHolcim-logoLafargeHolcim named Chance Allen general manager for the Mountain region of the company’s U.S. Aggregates & Construction Materials (ACM) organization.

According to the company, Allen has extensive experience in lean manufacturing and managing large scale businesses. He most recently served as general manager of LafargeHolcim’s Aggregates & Asphalt organization for the Mountain region, where he was responsible for quarry operations, asphalt plants, a recycle business and more.

“Chance brings a valuable perspective of the U.S. aggregates and construction materials industry,” says Jay Moreau, CEO of LafargeHolcim’s U.S. ACM. “His experience in production and in developing and executing strategic growth initiatives will support LafargeHolcim as we continue to strengthen and expand our business.”

Prior to joining LafargeHolcim in October 2019, Allen served as vice president of the central Texas area for Martin Marietta.

Allen has a bachelor’s degree in mining engineering from the Missouri University of Science & Technology, as well as an MBA from Strayer University.
