Kolberg-Pioneer appoints two sales directors

Kolberg-Pioneer, Johnson Crushers International and Astec Mobile Screens promoted Jeff Lininger and Ron Griess to North American sales directors of the west and east, respectively.

In his new position, Lininger is responsible for directing, administering and coordinating all domestic field sales operations for the western region. Griess has the same responsibilities in the east. Both will report to Ron Earl, vice president of sales and marketing, in order to establish and attain annual domestic sales goals and effective dealer relations for their respective regions.

Lininger has been associated with Kolberg-Pioneer, Johnson Crushers International and Astec Mobile Screens since 2002. Prior to his career with the three companies, he served as general manager of Astec AggReCon West.

“Jeff’s extensive experience comes from growing up in this industry, working for his family’s company and then moving into the distribution side of the industry over 16 years ago,” Earl says. “His skills and knowledge will be instrumental as we strive to increase our domestic sales in the western region.”

Griess has been working for Kolberg-Pioneer for 29 years. He most recently served as the product manager for the crushing, screening and track product line. Prior to that position, he held positions in the sales and engineering departments, both as a sales applications representative and as an electric designer.

“Ron has an intimate knowledge of all aspects of our company,” Earl says. “I am confident we will continue to increase our presence in the eastern region with his experience of all product lines, product management and years spent in the field.”
