Several mobile crushing and screening plants from Kleemann made their North American debut last week at ConExpo-Con/Agg.

The Mobiscreen MSS 802i EVO portable screen plant, the Mobicat MC 110i EVO2 portable jaw crushing plant and the Mobicone MCO 90i EVO2 portable cone crushing plant were among the equipment and technology Kleemann had on display in Las Vegas.

Also featured at ConExpo-Con/Agg were the company’s Mobirex MR 110i EVO2 mobile impact crusher and its Spective Connect operating concept.

Portable plant premiers

Kleemann says its MSS 802i EVO portable screen plant is designed for coarse elements and to meet challenges in different application areas.

The plant features flexible conversion options, according to the company, and provides an optimum material flow in natural stone and recycling applications. The MSS 802i EVO has a large range of screen surfaces and simple screening parameter settings, allowing it to adapt to new application conditions, Kleemann adds.

The plant can be converted from three to two final grain sizes if a fine final product is to be screened from particularly coarse feed material. Its drive concept, H-Drive, provides the option of an external power supply for emission-free and environmentally sound work, according to the company.

Kleemann’s Mobicat MC 110i EVO and Mobicone MCO 90i EVO 2 – both making their U.S. debuts at ConExpo-Con/Agg – feature the D-Drive drive concept, intelligent overload systems and the Spective operating concept, as well as the mobile version: Spective Connect. Both machines can be equipped with an optional double-deck post screening unit and produce two classified final grain sizes without the use of an additional screen plant.

The Mobirex MR 110i EVO2 is included in the EVO2 line. Kleemann says the mobile impact crusher has flexible applications in both natural stone and recycling settings. Both Spective and Spective Connect are available for the MR 110i EVO2.

Sizing up Spective

Kleemann’s Spective includes various components that are ideally tuned to one another and accompany the machine operator throughout the workday, the company says. The mobile offering, Spective Connect, supports worksite digitalization, apart from the touchpanel and different radio remote controls that come with Spective.

Spective Connect displays all relevant process information and reporting on a smartphone without having to leave the feeding device, Kleemann adds. Spective Connect has several new features that will make work even easier for operators, including a new configuration tool that supports the selection of the correct machine settings.

Line coupling

Another piece of technology Kleemann highlighted at ConExpo-Con/Agg is its clever line coupling. The company says this allows plants to be easily coupled together with one another.

Apart from the optimized material transport in all crushing stages, the new wireless line coupling guarantees safety, Kleemann says. If an emergency stop button on the plant train is pressed, all machines are safely stopped. On crushing plants equipped with Spective, this is carried out via radio. Cable installation is no longer required.
