IPS (Integrated Power Services), which services electric motors, generators and mechanical power transmission components, acquired Delta Electric Motors and Eastside Electric Motors.

Delta Electric, based in Tukwila, Washington, and Eastside Electric, in Spokane, Washington, are full-service electrical apparatus companies.

Luigi DiPietro founded Delta Electric in 1976, following a 14-year career with GE. The DiPietro family acquired Eastside Electric in 2002. They comprise one of the Northwest’s oldest service providers, according to IPS.

Together, these companies employ 48 people and serve customers in Washington, Montana, Idaho and Alaska, as well as British Columbia and Alberta, Canada. Both operations repair all types and sizes of electrical apparatus and participate in the Green Motors Incentive plan.

These acquisitions join IPS Portland and IPS Denver, IPS says.

“We’re proud to welcome Delta and Eastside to the IPS family,” says John Zuleger, IPS president and CEO. “The DiPietros have built a well-run business and it’s a privilege for IPS to be able to acquire it.”
