Industry stock prices up slightly this month

Most of the publicly traded aggregate-producer stocks have climbed slightly in the past month. Most notably, Eagle Materials (EXP) is up nearly 14 percent since this time in August.

Overall, construction-materials stock prices have lagged behind the Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 in 2017, as noted by FMI’s George Reddin and Scott Duncan in their most-recent Market Insights report.
